Historic Johnson Pool Re-opens, Outdoor Live Music And More

If you aren’t feeling like its truly summer yet, maybe check out any of the upcoming outdoor live music events in parks around town, or see the newly renovated Johnson Pool downtown.

Also I will try to limit the amount of links that are to Facebook, for those who don’t have it, though some events I can only find listed there. Also some of the websites are blocked by antivirus.

Thursday - 6/12

  • Food Truck Mania

    • A range of local food trucks will be in Vernon Street Town Square, accompanied by live music and a kids zone.

    • 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Vernon Street Town Square, 311 Vernon St.

  • Big Trucks Summer - Wastewater

    • Big Trucks summer is an event every Thursday where anyone can go and check out the City of Roseville’s trucks. This week are wastewater trucks and machines that keep the city’s water flowing

  • Music in the Park - Freestone Peaches

    • A tradition every summer for the past 30 years, Royer Park hosts bands every month until September. This month is the Freestone Peaches, a tribute to the Allman Brothers Band.

  • Glowing Batty

    • Support Norcal Bats and watch an incredible show featuring the world’s only flying mammal. Open to all.

  • Line Dancing and Country Night

    • A night of country fun with line dancing, as well as the North Forty band

  • Johnson Pool Grand Reopening

    • The historic Johnson Pool is reopening with a new look. For the grand opening there will be games, crafts and more.

    • 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Johnson Pool, 100 D St.

  • Bayside Family Car Show - Hot Wheels

    • Family-friendly event to for Father’s day weekend. There will also be a First Responders Zone, kids activities, food trucks and more. Open to all.

    • 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Bayside Adventure, 6401 Stanford Ranch Road

  • The Great Stache Showdown

    • An intense mustache showdown in Roseville, with the categories being Frontier Fuzz (for kids) and Wildest Whiskers. Winners get a trophy and prizes.

  • Louis C.K. - Ridiculous - Saturday

Sunday - 6/15

  • Summertime Serenade

    • Hosted by Maidu Park Farmer’s Market. There will be local business vendors, food, live music and activities for the whole family.

  • Mahany Park Farmers Market

    • 60+ Farmers and vendors, plus food trucks and live music.

  • Downtown Tuesday Nights - Red Voodoo

    • Every Tuesday until 7/29 there will be classic cars, live music, food, kid activities, vendors and more in Downtown Roseville! Full list of bands on their website.
