Roseville Fire plans major drone fleet expansion
Roseville Fire is planning a long-term expansion of its drone program with the goal of eventually placing a drone at every fire station. The drones would provide firefighters and police with live aerial video before crews arrive, helping improve emergency response and safety.
Fatal Pursuit and Shooting Closes I-80
A fatal deputy-involved shooting following a pursuit shut down eastbound I-80 for several hours Sunday. Authorities say the incident began with a domestic violence investigation and ended after the suspect reportedly pointed a firearm at deputies.
Atlantic and Vernon Street Construction is Finished
The Atlantic and Vernon Street S-curve project is now complete. The improvements include safer pedestrian crossings, protected bike lanes, landscaped medians, and other traffic calming features designed to improve safety for everyone traveling through the area.
